Gemensamt f\u00f6r dem alla \u00e4r att de best\u00e5r av glukosmolekyler som \u00e4r sammanfogade med hj\u00e4lp av s\u00e5 kallade betabindningar. Matsm\u00e4ltningsenzymerna i v\u00e5ra tarmar kan inte bryta ner dessa betabindningar, s\u00e5 betaglukaner bryts inte ner av v\u00e5rt matsm\u00e4ltningssystem n\u00e4r vi \u00e4ter dem.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hur en betaglukan ser ut, det vill s\u00e4ga hur den \u00e4r uppbyggd, beror p\u00e5 var den kommer ifr\u00e5n. Betaglukaner som finns i t.ex. havre \u00e4r l\u00e5nga raka kedjor av glukosmolekyler som \u00e4r bundna till varandra i beta-1,4-bindningar, medan betaglukaner fr\u00e5n svampriket \u00e4r kedjor av glukosmolekyler som \u00e4r bundna till varandra i beta-1,3-bindningar och med varierande grad av sidogrenar. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hemligheten ligger i strukturen<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Betaglukanen i <sup>EcoGard\u00ae<\/sup> utvinns ur cellv\u00e4ggen hos vanlig bagerij\u00e4st<em>(Saccharomyces cerevisiae).<\/em> Det kallas beta-1,3\/1,6-glukan, och f\u00f6r en biokemist beskriver namnet hur denna betaglukan \u00e4r uppbyggd: Den har l\u00e5nga kedjor av glukosmolekyler som \u00e4r sammanl\u00e4nkade med beta-1,3-bindningar, och sedan har den sidogrenar av s\u00e5dana kedjor som \u00e4r anslutna till den vid f\u00f6rgreningspunkter som kallas beta-1,6-bindningar. Detta beror p\u00e5 att betaglukanet \u00e4r s\u00e5 v\u00e4l f\u00f6rpackat och g\u00f6mt i j\u00e4stsvampens cellv\u00e4gg att v\u00e5r matsm\u00e4ltning inte kan extrahera det. Det inneb\u00e4r att immuncellerna i tarmv\u00e4ggen inte kommer i kontakt med betaglukanet i helj\u00e4st, vilket \u00e4r vad vi f\u00e5r i oss n\u00e4r vi \u00e4ter bakverk.  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">H\u00f6grenad beta-1,3\/1,6-glukan<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beta-1,3\/1,6-glukan i <sup>EcoGard\u00ae<\/sup> isoleras fr\u00e5n j\u00e4sten <em>Saccharomyces cerevisiae <\/em>med hj\u00e4lp av en avancerad och specialutvecklad reningsprocess som s\u00e4kerst\u00e4ller att den naturliga, tredimensionella strukturen bevaras, medan alla andra cellv\u00e4ggskomponenter och andra cellrester avl\u00e4gsnas helt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Det finns m\u00e5nga olika betaglukaner i naturen.
