F\u00e6lles for dem alle er, at de best\u00e5r af glukosemolekyler, der er sat sammen ved hj\u00e6lp af s\u00e5kaldte betabindinger. Ford\u00f8jelsesenzymerne i vores tarme kan ikke nedbryde disse betabindinger, s\u00e5 betaglukaner bliver ikke nedbrudt af vores ford\u00f8jelsessystem, n\u00e5r vi spiser dem.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hvordan en beta-glucan ser ud, dvs. hvordan den er opbygget, afh\u00e6nger af, hvor den kommer fra. Betaglukaner, der findes i havre, er f.eks. lange lige k\u00e6der af glukosemolekyler bundet sammen i beta-1,4-bindinger, mens betaglukaner fra svamperiget er k\u00e6der af glukosemolekyler bundet sammen i beta-1,3-bindinger og med varierende grader af sidegrene. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hemmeligheden ligger i strukturen<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Betaglukanet i EcoGard<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> er udvundet af cellev\u00e6ggen i almindelig bageg\u00e6r<em>(Saccharomyces cerevisiae).<\/em> Det kaldes et beta-1,3\/1,6-glucan, og for en biokemiker beskriver navnet, hvordan dette betaglucan er opbygget: Det har lange k\u00e6der af glukosemolekyler, der er bundet sammen af beta-1,3-bindinger, og s\u00e5 har det sidegrene af s\u00e5danne k\u00e6der, der er forbundet med det p\u00e5 forgreningspunkter, der kaldes beta-1,6-bindinger. Beta-glucan har en ret kompleks tredimensionel struktur, og vi omtaler det ofte som et komplekst polysaccharid. Selvom det er en korrekt betegnelse, er den ikke s\u00e6rlig beskrivende for, hvordan beta-glucan faktisk er opbygget.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Det, der g\u00f8r beta-1,3\/1,6-glukanet fra bageg\u00e6r s\u00e5 interessant, er netop dets tredimensionelle struktur, fordi det har vist sig, at det netop er det, som immuncellerne i tarmv\u00e6ggen genkender og kommer i kontakt med ved hj\u00e6lp af s\u00e6rligt tilpassede receptorer p\u00e5 deres overflade.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hvorfor kan man ikke bare spise almindelig bageg\u00e6r?<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selvom bageg\u00e6r (g\u00e6rsvampen <em>Saccharomyces cerevisiae<\/em>) har et h\u00f8jt indhold af beta-1,3\/1,6-glucaner, betyder det ikke, at det at spise g\u00e6r og g\u00e6rbagv\u00e6rk giver de samme fordele som rent beta-glucan. Det skyldes, at betaglukanet er s\u00e5 godt pakket og skjult i g\u00e6rsvampens cellev\u00e6g, at vores ford\u00f8jelse ikke er i stand til at udtr\u00e6kke det. Det betyder, at immuncellerne i tarmv\u00e6ggen ikke kommer i kontakt med betaglukanet i hel g\u00e6r, som er det, vi indtager, n\u00e5r vi spiser bagv\u00e6rk.  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">H\u00f8jt oprenset beta-1,3\/1,6-glucan<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beta-1,3\/1,6-glucanet i EcoGard<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> er isoleret fra g\u00e6ren <em>Saccharomyces cerevisiae <\/em>ved hj\u00e6lp af en avanceret og specialudviklet oprensningsproces, der sikrer, at den naturlige, tredimensionelle struktur bevares, mens alle andre cellev\u00e6gskomponenter og andre cellerester fjernes fuldst\u00e6ndigt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Der findes mange forskellige beta-glukaner i naturen.
